Jason England is widely regarded as one of the finest card handlers in the world, with almost 30 years of experience performing classical close-up magic. However, Jason’s expertise isn’t just confined to magic – he is also considered one of the world’s foremost experts on gambling-related sleight-of-hand and cheating techniques. His knowledge and experience have led to film and television performances, casino game protection talks, and lectures on marked cards and antique gambling collectibles/ephemera.
This course offers an in-depth look at classic gambling sleights and how they fit in to modern gambling demonstrations and magic routines. Sleights covered in this 5-course series will include false cuts, false shuffles, false deals, control sequences, palming techniques, card mucking techniques and cold deck switching techniques.
This is live and in real time filled with interaction and not a series of videos.

Skill Level: Please note, you do NOT need to already be proficient in gambling techniques to participate in this course. The instructor wants to be sure you’re not frightened away from this class by a lack of expertise. Jason is happy to accommodate newcomers to gambling sleights. If you consider yourself a beginner to gambling sleight of hand, you are certainly welcome. However, you should not be an absolute beginner to card handling. We recommend at least 1 year of basic card handling.
Recommended Pre-Requisite Course Material: There are no required prerequisites for this course, but if you have access to The Expert at the Card Table, Expert Card Technique or Card College and wish to read them, focusing on the gambling-related sleights, Jason thinks it would be time well spent.
