From German artist Horst Antes is the very first blow book that is also a flip book – Flickbuch. Bring the images to motion by flipping through them, and then change the pages completely by blowing on the book! Limited edition of 1000 copies, hand-numbered and signed by Horst Antes.
Accompanying Antes’ blow book is Volker Huber’s Fresh Breath on the Blow Book, a companion historical treatise, translated into English. This 40-page book traces the history of transformation books, and includes many illustrations and reproductions.
Please note that the text of the blow book is in German, but an English translation is provided in the appendix of the companion book.
